Easter 2026 in Spain: 17 million trips expected and restrictions may impact road transport
As Easter approaches, Spain’s traffic authority (DGT) activates its special operation and expects very high mobility: 17 million trips until Monday, 6 April, including 4.3 million in the first phase (from Friday of Sorrows to Holy Monday).
